His vast knowledge, his know-how, his delicate sense of approaching trends, the love he feels for his profession, all these things fascinate amateurs and specialists alike. His extraordinary professional competence bears fruit: Georg Malojer has been CEO of Malojer Planning and Construction Offices for more than 35 years. He maintains company branches and locations in Innsbruck, Vienna, Bratislava, Sofia and Nizhny Novgorod.
The ‘Malojer Success Story’ began 67 years ago, on 7 July 1949. Born to Anna and Anton Malojer in Innsbruck, Georg Malojer grew up in modest circumstances. Even as a child, building bricks and toy blocks were the favorite toy of the future master builder. It was an indication of an early love which was destined to deepen over time. At technical colleges such as the Lehranstalt für Hochbau his talents were educated and honed. With enormous dedication, he gained the knowledge for his future vocation.
This path led first to the building department of the Post AG, then to Storf Hoch and Tiefbau in Reutte, then to the architecture offices of Schwärzler in Schwaz. In 1981 he ventured the leap of faith to self-employment, promising his professional arrival: he established his company. A big expansionary step to Eastern Europe followed soon thereafter. Crowning innumerable international projects, the construction of the Bergisel Ski Jump and the Nordkette/Hungerbahn funicular railway became the brightest star in the professional sky of his career.
Georg Malojer is one of the most successful in his branch in Austria. His private life is defined by a bond with his own children who provide him with new inspirations and ideas ongoingly, encouraging him to work on his own personal development without surcease. The master builder with both feet on the ground views his professional success simply as a marvellous by-product. What matters in his eyes is the love of building.
